Liz Male Consulting Ltd

Our PR agency is 100% focused on the construction industry.  Construction PR is what we do.

Over almost 20 years of trading we have gained a wealth of experience in marketing and communications for construction, property and the built environment.

See the issues we've tackled and the organisations we've worked with.

A good PR agency should be able to deliver the right amount, type and combination of activities to achieve objectives like this, and should also be able to track, evaluate and report back to you regularly on its progress.

We provide PR and media relations services in all parts of the UK and international property, construction and built environment sectors, targeting customers, industry leaders, business groups, influencers, professions and trades.

We use PR as a strategic management discipline to help you achieve your purpose, and to make you better known, better loved and better understood by the people who matter most to your future success.

We are not a press release factory. Our PR approach is based on research, industry expertise and contacts, a focus on your purpose and business goals, and a commitment to meaningful evaluation. We insist on intelligent, targeted, high quality PR that prioritises diversity and inclusion, sustainability, integrity and positive impact.

We provide Press Office services for many clients. We use our relationships with journalists, bloggers, podcasters and influencers to get your stories noticed, and to help you achieve a position of genuine thought leadership in a market full of noise. We provide tailored messaging and expert guidance to ensure your brand is positioned effectively.

We provide practical media training and support for your spokespeople, helping you navigate media interviews with confidence. To achieve more representation and diverse voices in property, construction and the built environment, we run free media training sessions for female, global majority or disabled spokespeople to help build their profile in the industry.

Over decades we have built deep knowledge and understanding of many parts of the property and construction eco-system. It's not a single industry, but an infinitely varied and fascinating market with many challenges and opportunities for change.

At the start of the process to improve the built environment are the planners, consultants, architects and designers who have a vision for the future.

LMC was born to help them achieve that vision.

Building, fire and life safety will remain some of the most critical issues for every part of the property and construction sectors for years to come.

The UK has historically had an outstandingly good record on building safety compared to many other countries, but now we must tackle cultural complacency, systemic failures and address the appalling revelations from the Grenfell Tower Inquiry.

There is no part of the construction industry untouched by the need to promote improved safety and quality.

Data-driven PR is about understanding the unique stories your data can tell and turning this into high-impact communications that people will remember. In today’s construction industry, data is everywhere.

However, many businesses are not aware that this data can also be extremely valuable communications tool.

Our award-winning data team works with clients to turn raw data into impactful, media-friendly communications.

We can help to identify and understand useful data sets, research and suggest potential story angles, analyse data to extract useful insights and translate these insights into industry-leading communications.

ESG (environmental, social and governance) issues have been at the heart of much of our work since LMC began, with the aim of championing the pioneers with maximum understanding and technical integrity, and no greenwash.

LMC’s most senior consultants have over 30 years’ experience in promoting new initiatives in energy efficiency and building physics, low carbon building solutions, affordable warmth, environmental sustainability and biodiversity, air quality, circular economy, health and wellbeing, social value and inclusion.

Recent work includes developing a communications campaign to promote improved Scope 3 reporting in construction supply chains, plus identifying influencers and potential ambassadors for the UK's whole life carbon roadmap, and a major media relations campaign on improving Energy Performance Certificates.

We are currently promoting new innovations in airtightness, building performance measurement and mould prevention, and creating case studies of sustainability and social value projects linked to Gold-standard public sector procurement.

We are strongly committed to playing our own part in tackling climate change.

We track our business and its impacts against the UN Sustainable Development Goals and have launched lower-carbon digital marketing services

LMC has signed the Clean Creatives pledge to decline any contracts with fossil fuel companies, trade associations or front groups. We are on our own net zero journey with specific targets mapped out for 2027, 2030 and 2050.

LMC is also an active member of the AECB and a signatory to the SME Climate Hub.
