Trinity PR

Trinity PR is an independent healthcare communications agency. Our senior level team works alongside clients to understand and meet their needs.

We’ve become a trusted source for health writers and we’re tenacious in our efforts to find the right angle for every story and campaign.

We use a combination of tactics to get results including press office services, feature development, case study placement, news release and media statements distribution and sell-ins.

Horizon scanning, sharing content, media tracking and evaluation is an intrinsic part of what we offer.

Having originally met working across both the private and not-for-profit sector,  Jo Hudson, Caroline Beswick and Jo Gulliver went on to found Trinity PR back in August 2003.

Since then, the agency has grown from strength to strength and, still independent, we are now a medium sized agency in our 12th year of business.

We boast a diverse mix of clients spanning the healthcare sector and pride ourselves on our ability to understand our clients’ business and objectives in order to respond with a creative, results-driven programme and/or campaign.

We provide a range of bespoke and retained services that help clients boost their online profile to reach out and engage with target audiences across digital and social media platforms to strengthen user brand relationships.

Our experience includes social media strategy, planning and management (including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn), developing creative, relevant and topical online content (blogs, news, features, film, infographics, imagery etc.) and management to support link building.

Our cross platform promotion activity includes web development and design, analysis of current online status, SEO & paid media, as well as digital film campaigns.

Our strength lies in developing creative campaigns that influence and shape attitudes and behaviour.

This understanding of the healthcare market and the media landscape sees us generating relevant content across media platforms.

Trinity PR was set up in 2003 by its three founding directors Caroline Beswick, Jo Hudson and Jo Gulliver who remain at the heart of the business, leading on campaigns and key accounts across the healthcare sector.

We’ve based our offices in Ewell Village, Surrey – a small but vibrant community hub of local businesses which we’re proud to support.  We’re fortunate to be surrounded by green space and we encourage the team to use local public transport links and embrace active travel with many of the team cycling or walking into work.

Sustainability is a key concern, and we endeavour to ensure our business is as “green” as possible. In 2019, we pledged to be a paperless office and are committed to recycling via our local council scheme. Materials used for press mailers are always 100% recyclable and wastage is reduced by ensuring that any media gifts are useful, usable and appropriate!  We send all parcels through the local post office, reducing the carbon footprint of our mailing boxes.

As a creative comms agency, we love meeting our clients, suppliers, journalists and influencers but we’re also mindful of the environmental impact of travel.  And, our team is always armed with “keep-cups” and refillable water bottles to power up our PR on the move!

We’d love to hear about your business, your vision and share our insight into how we could collaborate successfully to help boost your brand.

With over 20 years’ experience working across the healthcare landscape, the Agency is in a strong position to advise clients on the role PR has to play within their marketing plans. As part of our client service, we provide ongoing counsel and media advice, to ensure that our plans dovetail with wider business objectives and are responsive to the media agenda.  Our on-boarding process enables us to work closely with clients in the Immersion and Preparation phase to create comprehensive strategic plans set against ambitious and measurable KPIs (key performance indicators).

The Agency works closely with every client to follow key steps to ensure the development and delivery of successful communication strategies:

  • Agency and client immersion phase including review of recent PR and comms activity, analysis of results delivered, review of client goals, sharing and discussion of an organisation’s Business and Marketing plans, fine-tuning of PR plans
  • Set and agree on SMART objectives
  • Agree on final scope of work and PR timeline
  • Development of key messages and positioning statements
  • Implement programme with a focus on delivery to deadline
  • Analyse programme and evaluate results
  • Report back and present to client
  • Review and feedback insight into future programmes

Trinity PR can work with you to effectively plan for potential healthcare crisis communications, as well as steer you through any tricky media issues should they arise.

As specialists in this area, we have successfully managed the reputation of numerous charities, professional bodies, pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, independent hospitals, and care home groups throughout the UK.

Planning crisis communications activity enables you to take control, manage and contain issues. We work with organisations to oversee the development of a ‘crisis management protocol’.

Preparation for this includes;

  • Identification and anticipation of potential issues
  • The crisis comms process; handling both internal & external stakeholders
  • The agreed reporting procedure
  • Selecting the communications response team
  • Media training of the response team
  • Media messages (for both internal & external audiences)
  • Background information and statements for the media

We provide a range of services to support your crisis comms plan ongoing, including strategic counsel, protocol updates and rehearsals, as well as press office services.

Should an issue arise, we can also help you to take control of the media agenda post-crisis, with the development of a media strategy to help rebuild your reputation and change the messaging around your organisation.

We have a strong copywriting team to generate insightful, educational, and informative content that can be used across a wide range of digital and print media platforms to engage and resonate with your audiences.

This includes the development of trade and consumer advertorials, drafting and editing key opinion leader and senior management thought leadership features, corporate e-newsletters, as well as campaign and white paper reports.

We help you to find the angles, messaging, and vehicle to ensure your voice is heard and stands out from the crowd. With digital platforms, we develop content that is SEO-optimised, purpose-driven with the aim of driving engagement and connections. In some instances we work in partnership with an independent author, such as a journalist working for the national or trade media, to add credibility and authority to content such as hard-hitting news report.

Creating strong visual imagery across our campaigns is integral to our work and is a natural extension to the services we offer. We partner with a number of media agencies and consultants to develop supportive campaign materials including logos, media reports, infographics, web site design and film.
