Hotbox Studios is a web design, animation, web application development, and digital marketing company.

Hotbox Studios began in 1999 as four college students - Mark Hatchard, Robert Smith, Guy Wigmore, and Richard Lee - collaborating to produce a short film for the Hampshire Constabulary.

Following the completion of the film and their studies in 2000 the four went their separate ways, Mark and Richard to university, Rob to work as a web designer, and Guy to travel the world...

Whilst studying for a BA (hons) in Computer Visualisation and Animation at Bournemouth University's National Centre for Computer Animation (NCCA), Mark continued working on a freelance basis producing animation for live events and dabbling with a little web development.

PAAM App is a web application Hotbox Studios developed focused around the recruitment and management of staff and volunteers.

When was Hotbox formed?

We completed our first project in 1999 and incorporated in February 2003.

Where is Hotbox based?

We're based on the Elvetham Estate near Hartley Wintney, in north Hampshire. 20 miles from the M25, roughly halfway between Guildford and Reading, the M3 and M4, and a short drive from Fleet train station which offers fast connections to London's Waterloo.
