Once upon a time there was this thing called “The Yellow Pages” – it was 3” thick (76mm) full of trade adverts, the competition between advertisers was huge and the pages were a pale sandy colour. You HAD to be in the Yellow Pages.

Now businesses, apart from those 2 Million, believe they HAVE to have a website. But just as a bad advert in the Yellow Pages Directory was worse than no advert at all – a bad website is worse than having no website at all. If it isn’t working for you, if it isn’t promoting your brand, if customers find it forgettable and end up using someone else – (because they saw the product or service on your site but didn’t remember your name) you are paying to advertise your competitors.
