Ecru Design was set up by Morag Findlay in 2001.
Morag is a Glasgow School of Art graduate with over 30 years experience in the field of art, design, desktop publishing and web authoring.
We specialise in graphic and layout design for all printed material and online communications, producing innovating yet clear, practical design solutions.
We are passionate about good design but we also understand the importance of meeting the brief, achieving objectives, reaching the target audience and soliciting the desired response from the target audience.
Of course of equal importance is the budget and timescales.
We often work to strict deadlines and having worked for a number of not-for-profit clients we have experience of working with tight budgets.
We work with a diverse range of clients. We learn about clients businesses quickly and often work with them as an extension to their team.
We adhere to existing design guidelines or we develop brand guidelines for clients who dont have these.
Since a lot of our clients are public sector we are highly experienced in designing to accessibility standards.
We use the latest Adobe Creative Suite software for all our design work and provide finished art in accordance to specified printers requirements.

Our preferred platform is WordPress which gives you as much or as little control as you want. However we have designed on platforms such a Wix and Squarespace among others.
